Released in the USA in 2013 under Moonlight Label, "Hey Joe" is the fourth single of a five part series of cover tunes recorded by Michael Charles.
The “Under the Covers” single series was the direct response to audiences’ requests for recorded versions of the few “covers” Michael Charles performs on stage. The songs, all hand picked and played with that MC twist, are grouped together as a set featuring five CD’s with tunes like “After Midnight”, “Going Down” “Crosscut Saw”, “Hey Joe” and more. The fifth CD is a real bonus and true to that unorthodox way of Charles as he wrote and finished up the series with an original song named “Cover Tunes”.
